  • Accept responsibility: You accept full responsibility for all activities, including hardware purchases and trade-in submissions, that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Product Information & Compatibility

We strive to provide accurate device descriptions, tech specifications (such as storage capacities and battery life), and prices. However, manufacturer specifications and carrier compatibility may change. We do not guarantee absolute accuracy and reserve the right to correct pricing errors or update product details without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that an unlocked device is compatible with their chosen cellular network carrier before purchasing.

4. Orders and Payment

  • Order Acceptance: All orders—especially high-demand pre-orders for new smartphone releases—are subject to acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to inventory shortages, pricing errors, or suspected fraud (common in electronics retail).

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards, secure digital wallets, and approved financing/installment plans at checkout.

  • Order Confirmation: Your email confirmation acknowledges your order request. It does not signify acceptance until payment is cleared and the device is processed for shipment.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • High-Value Shipments: For your security, shipments containing high-value electronics (smartphones, tablets, laptops) may require a direct signature upon delivery.

  • Processing Time: In-stock devices are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Pre-orders will ship according to the manufacturer’s official release schedule.

  • Delivery Delays: FixOpen is not responsible for transit delays caused by extreme weather, carrier disruptions, or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.

6. Returns and Refunds (Electronics Policy)

We offer a return and refund policy tailored to consumer electronics. Key points include:

  • Eligibility: Most devices can be returned within 14-30 days of receipt. They must be in original, undamaged condition with all original packaging, cables, and manuals intact.

  • Account Locks & Data: Crucial: Before returning any device, you must perform a factory reset and remove all personal accounts (e.g., Apple iCloud, Google Accounts, Samsung Accounts). Devices returned with activation locks will be rejected and returned to the sender without a refund.

  • Restocking Fees: Opened or used devices may be subject to a restocking fee, deducted from the final refund amount.

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for secure return shipping unless the device arrived defective or dead-on-arrival (DOA).

7. Customer Responsibility

You agree to use our services lawfully. You must not:

  • Use stolen credit cards or engage in fraudulent transactions.

  • Submit lost, stolen, or blacklisted (bad IMEI) devices to our trade-in program.

  • Transmit malicious software or attempt to breach our website’s security.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Data Loss: FixOpen is not responsible for any lost personal data (photos, contacts, apps) on devices sent to us for returns, repairs, or trade-ins. Always back up your data. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FixOpen, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages (including attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our website and products.
